MOUNTAINVIEW MEDICAL IMAGING is seeking a patient-focused individual to join our team as a MRI/CT Technologist (PRN).
Summary: The MRI/CT Tech performs MRI and CT procedures to produce imaging using MRI and CT technology to assist physicians in formulating a medical diagnosis, while complying with safety and regulatory requirements. This person will specifically conduct MRI and CT exams and document clinically appropriate results for interpretive physician and records.
Desired Professional Skills and Experience
Successful completion of a radiology program at an accredited school preferred
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT)
State licensure where required
BCLS required
One to three years of radiology technologist experience preferred
One to three years of experience as an MRI/CT technologist preferred

POSITION SUMMARY
Radiology Partners is seeking a Mammography Technologist for the Mountainview Medical Imaging location who will deliver quality patient care during a mammography procedure by exhibiting patience and a thorough knowledge of the examination.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operates equipment efficiently and accurately
Communicate and explain the procedure to the patient
Gather patient history before the exam (if applicable)
Communicate with radiologists and personnel within other practices concerning patients
Documents patient care services using HER
Ensures the safe operation of equipment
Performs required cleaning of room and equipment before each exam
Perform patient reminder calls
Schedule follow-up appointments
Performs other job duties as required or assigned
Performs x-ray exams as needed

Current CPR
Working knowledge of the EHR and PACS system

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs various types of diagnostic ultrasounds on patients according to procedure protocols
Positions patients for Ultrasound exams and explains procedures
Operates the Ultrasound equipment to provide quality images and monitors patients
Must have technical, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with physicians, teammates, patients and families.
Confers with physicians to determine the appropriate protocols and other parameters for setting data acquisition of the patient’s scans
Processes images and patient information through RIS and PACS, or other hard copy parameters
Performs various types of digital data analysis
Performs quality assurance on ultrasound equipment.
Performs required cleaning/sterilization procedures for each patient.

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicates and explains procedure with patient
- Prepare and position patient for diagnostic imaging procedure
- Position radiation protection devices such as lead shields
- Setting x-ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of the patient’s body
- Setting controls on the X-ray machine to produce X-rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contrast
- Capture image of each angle following physician’s orders precisely
- Evaluate image for quality
- Communicates with radiologists and personnel within other practices concerning patients
- Maintain patient records / documentation
- Ensures operation of equipment
- Performs required cleaning of room and equipment after each exam

Patient Scheduling Representative (PSR)
MountainView Medical Imaging is seeking a patient-focused individual to join our team as a Patient Scheduling Representative (PSR).
Summary: The PSR is responsible for scheduling Radiology appointments for patients and providers, obtaining insurance information, answering multi-line phones, receiving incoming faxes, for multiple locations.
Desired Professional Skills and Experience
Strong customer service skills and the ability to keyboard proficiently.
Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of and experience in using radiology-related computer systems (RIS/PACS), preferred.
Experience working in a medical setting preferred.

Pre-Certification Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY
At Mountainview Medical Imaging, the Pre-Certification Specialist’s core duties are contacting insurance companies and third-party administrators to determine pre-authorization and/or medical necessity requirements for basic and high-tech outpatient radiology exams and procedures. The specialist is responsible for obtaining the pre-authorization before the scheduled services are performed. The representative will act as a liaison between the patients and referring physician offices when needed to obtain additional clinical documentation.
The ideal candidate has direct experience with radiology and/or the pre-authorization process with insurance companies and third-party administrators. Communicating clearly and professionally with payors and patients is necessary, as direct communication with all parties provides a competitive advantage.
POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The associate must promptly initiate the authorization request to the appropriate insurance company.
- High Volume Diagnostic Imaging Center
- Oversight and Participation in all aspects of radiology prior authorization process.
- Responsible for obtaining and communicating pre-authorization as needed per insurance company requirements.
- Responsible for all follow-up phone calls to the insurance company or doctor’s office for authorization status or to request additional information.
- Gather all necessary clinical information from the referring doctors’ offices to complete the prior authorization process.
- Communicating with other staff about patient pre-authorization status
- You are communicating with patients and providers about pre-authorization status before their service date.
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls
- Process online authorization as needed through payor portals
- Other duties as assigned.
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- High School or Equivalent Preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and diagnosis codes associated with radiology patients
- Prior Authorization Experience is preferred
